Johnny’s Tavern is a chain restaurant that has several locations in Kansas and Missouri. This bar and grill restaurant provides great food and a fun, upbeat atmosphere. Johnny’s has a large menu with several options for a quality burger. Johnny’s is the perfect spot to go out for lunch with the family, a hangout place on a Friday night with some friends, or a place to go watch the Chiefs on a Sunday afternoon. Nothing can go wrong when your enjoying a great tasting burger and have a TV in sight no matter where your sitting.
The Johnny’s Tavern I always visit is in Corinth Square right off Mission Road, which is just a couple streets away from where I live so it is a common spot I go to watch a game and eat a burger. Although it is bar and grill type food, they still have very good burgers. A couple of the burgers you could try on their wide range of options include the Royal Blue Burger topped with Wilson sauce, bleu cheese crumbles, bacon, and garlic aioli, or the ‘78 Classic burger which is claimed to be the burger that made them famous. After looking at the menu options, I decided to go with the Dodge City burger, which is topped with a crispy onion ring, cheddar cheese, bacon, and BBQ sauce, along with a side of fries and lemonade. When my burger arrived, the first thing I noticed was the large crispy onion ring and crispy bacon slathered in BBQ sauce sitting on top of the beuger, and I couldn’t wait to eat it. Overall, the burger was cooked perfectly and tasted very delicious. I would recommend Johnny’s Tavern to everyone because they have great food and it is a commonly known as one of the best Bar and Grills in Kansas.
