Wendy’s is a chain fast food restaurant with locations all over the United States and Kansas City. Mainly known for their square burger patties and ¢50 frostys during the summer, Wendys is just another cheap fast food chain. Although you can get great deals here like the 4 for 4, where you can get a burger, chicken nuggets, fries, and a drink for only $4, there are certainly better fast food options. Wendy’s is a good restaurant if your looking for a quick meal during a road trip and you see one off the side of a highway, or only have a couple dollars in your pocket and forgot to eat breakfast.
I decided to give the Wendy’s location on State Line Road a stop, mainly because I wanted a ¢50 frosty and needed to eat another burger for this blog. I walk into the Wendy’s and am disappointed, though not surprised, to see dirty tables, trash on the drink and utensils area, and flies throughout the restaurant. I hate to rip Wendy’s to shreds like I am, but I feel like every Wendy’s I go into is like this, not just this one. When I get up to order, I order the 4 for 4 with a junior bacon cheeseburger, fries, chicken nuggets, and a soft drink. There was fortunately a short wait before I got my food. I sat down to eat my burger and was pleasantly surprised by the looks of the food and that they got my order right. The burger was nice and hot and was decently good for a fast food restaurant. Even though I often don’t enjoy eating at Wendy’s, the food I got this time tasted pretty good. I think Wendy’s is a good burger restaurant to go to if you are looking to spend not as much money compared to other fast food restaurants.
