BRGR

BRGR is a local Kansas City restaurant that has multiple locations in the city. The location I visited is inside Corinth Square in Prairie Village, Kansas. BRGR takes their burgers very seriously, as should any place that is literally pronounced “burger”. Not only does BRGR have a large, creative menu of different burgers, but they also have an open-air portion of the restaurant that is connected to an outside patio for when the weather is nice. BRGR is a great sit down lunch destination that serves some killer burgers.

Fortunately, BRGR is just a couple blocks away from my house, so this is another restaurant we tend to visit when we are searching for some burgers. The restaurant offers a numerous amount of different burger combinations on their menu, including fan favorites like the Jucy Lucy, Knob Hill, and Jalapeño Popper burgers. On my most recent trip to BRGR with the family, I ordered the Road Hoss burger with a side of tater tots. On the Road Hoss is bacon, Wisconsin cheddar, onion straws, and BBQ sauce all on a salt and pepper bun. Although the wait this time around was uncharacteristically longer, the finish product was well worth it. My burger arrived topped with bacon, a mound of onion straws, and the perfect amount of BBQ sauce. Even though I felt that my burger was slightly over cooked for my liking, the toppings on the burger created an explosion of flavor that quickly distracted me from that. Overall, the burger was very good and hit the spot as usual. BRGR is the perfect place to go to lunch with your family on a summer afternoon, or for dinner after a long day at school or work. BRGR is worth stopping by and I would certainly recommend it to everyone that loves burgers as much as I do.
